The 73rd Republic Day (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav) of India was celebrated with gaiety and patriotic fervour at Bansal Group of Institution amidst the foggy morning of 26th January, 2022. The ceremony took place in the presence of Shri Sunil Bansal Secretary BGI, Smt Parul Bansal Board Member BGI, Smt Pooja Bansal Board Member BGI, Directors, HODs , Faculty, Staff members and students. The ceremony commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Chief Guest Shrimati Parul Bansal. This was accompanied by the rendition of National Anthem led by the college’s Music Club. The programme moved forward with an incredible display of parade by the National Cadet Corps (NCC- Girls wing, NCC- Navel wing and NSS wing) cadets.
The energetic performances by the Dramatics Club and the infectious beats of bhangra filled the crowd with great energy and enthusiasm. The heartfelt renditions of patriotic songs aroused feelings of love and brotherhood among all.
Shri Sunil Bansal Ji addressed the gathering and highlighted the achievements of the college. He underscored the steps the college has taken to ensure an overall development of its students and took pride in mentioning that the college is well ahead of the academic standards that are now being enforced by the government. He emphasized upon the quality education which would help in the development of the city and the country at large. He briefly discussed the issues that the nation is currently facing and urged everyone to unite and stand against them.
Dr Sanjay Jain, Joint Secretary, BGI also addressed the gathering.
Dr. S Nayak Director Bansal College of Pharmacy coordinated the event and delivered highly motivating speech and commemorated the long and consistent efforts put in by the Indian freedom fighters for the country.
