Bansal College of Pharmacy marked the 11th International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and active student participation. More than 50 students from the college took part in a yoga session organized on the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, held at the Wrestling Hall of Tatya Tope Stadium, T. T. Nagar, Bhopal from 6:00 am to 8:00 am. Simultaneously, yoga sessions were also conducted within the Institute premises of Bansal Group of Institutes (BGI). Faculty members, staff, and students gathered early in the morning to participate in this wellness initiative, reflecting a shared commitment to health, discipline, and mindfulness.

The event was organized in collaboration with The Madhya Pradesh State Price Monitoring and Resource Unit, Office of the Commissioner, Food Safety & Controller, Food and Drugs Administration, Bhopal. Along with the yoga session, an awareness campaign was also conducted to highlight the importance of “Affordability, Accessibility, and Availability of Quality Drugs to the End Users.”

The event aimed to promote physical and mental well-being through yoga, while simultaneously educating participants about public health concerns and the availability of safe and affordable medicines. The students enthusiastically engaged in various asanas and breathing techniques, guided by trained yoga instructors.

The program not only reinforced the significance of yoga in daily life but also sensitized the youth towards their role in ensuring equitable healthcare access. It was a holistic initiative fostering both health awareness and social responsibility among students.
