 One day international conference organized at Bansal College of Pharmacy

BHOPAL: 12 JUNE A one-day international conference “Green Nanotechnology: A Sustainable Method for Advanced Drug Delivery and Formulation Technique” was successfully organized at Bansal College of Pharmacy, Bhopal, located in the capital. This conference was sponsored by Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology, whose main objective is Green Nanotechnology in Pharmacy produces and uses nanomaterials for drug formulation and other pharmaceutical applications using environmentally friendly principles and methods, thereby reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices. This approach focuses on using natural resources and non-toxic chemicals, reducing energy consumption and waste, and improving the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products.

The conference was inaugurated with lighting of lamps and Saraswati Vandana. Dr. Umesh Kumar Jain (Director BITS Pharmacy) graced the program as the chief guest. As special guests, Dr. Akhilesh Singhai, (Director, School of Pharmacy and Dean Academics (LNCT University Bhopal), Dr. Shailesh Jain (Dean Faculty of Pharmacy, Sam Global University, Bhopal), Dr. Neeraj Upmanyu (Professor and Pro Vice Chancellor SAGE University, Bhopal), Dr. Nipun Silawat (Principal Scientist, Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology), Dr. Kamlesh Dasora (Dean Faculty of Technology Vikram University Ujjain Bhopal) were present and presented their views.

The program was chaired by Joint Secretary Dr. Sanjay Jain.

Dr. Kamlesh Dasora (Dean Faculty of Technology Vikram University Ujjain) explained the importance of nanotechnology and explained in detail how green nanotechnology can make traditional drug delivery system more safe and environment friendly.

Dr. R.K. Maheshwari (Professor SGSIT Indore) threw light on making nano formulations main solubility enhancement techniques and explained how to make them simple in laboratories Emphasis was laid on adopting these methods. Along with this, other experts

Dr. Narayan Prasad Yadav (Senior Principal Scientist, CSIR -CIMAP, Lucknow, UP), Dr. Alok Nahta (Research and Development Manager Ying Zhi Agriculture & Industries Malaysia) presented their views on Green Nanotechnology Sustainable Method for Advanced Drug Delivery through online medium and told the students the benefits of Green Nanotechnology.

On this occasion, Dr. Sanjay Jain, Joint Secretary, BGI, motivated the students for innovation and research and said that

“The future belongs to those who understand the balance of science and present solutions.”

A total of 300 participants from across the state participated in this international conference in which oral and poster presentations were also made and the Avistrict Book was also released. The coordinator of the program was Dr. Priyanka Singh, Professor Bansal, School of Pharmacy. At the end of the program, mementoes and certificates were distributed to the participants. Mr. Parth Bansal, MD, Bansal Group expressed thanks and best wishes to the delegates who came from all over Madhya Pradesh for the successful event. Dr. S.
