
Bansal College of Pharmacy, Bhopal, celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India on 15th August 2025 under the theme “Naya Bharat”. The occasion was marked with great enthusiasm to re-experience the spirit of patriotism and to honour the glorious past of our nation.
The celebration took place in the esteemed presence of Shri Sunil Bansal, Secretory BGI; Dr. Sanjay Jain, Jt. Secretary BGI; Smt. Pooja Bansal Board Member; Mr. Parth Bansal, MD BGI; all Directors, HODs, faculty members, staff, and students.
The National Flag was hoisted by Shri Sunil Bansal Ji and Shrimati Pooja Bansal Ji, followed by the National Anthem. Dr. Sanjay Jain delivered a highly motivating speech commemorating the sacrifices and consistent efforts of India’s freedom fighters. Smt. Mr. Parth Bansal Ji spoke on India’s remarkable development journey since independence and significance of youth participation and unity in diversity.
Dr. S. Nayak, Principal, Bansal College of Pharmacy, coordinated the event and delivered a heartfelt speech in remembrance of freedom fighters and their struggles. The celebration also featured a parade and cultural performances by NCC and NSS students, along with vibrant dance performances by SDBPS students.
The programme concluded with a renewed pledge of patriotism, where faculty, staff, and students collectively revived the oath of being dutiful citizens of the nation. The day was observed with pride, enthusiasm, and deep respect for India’s glorious heritage.
