Bansal College of Pharmacy has conducted ‘Menstrual Health and Hygiene’ session through Online for students & Faculty memberson 02July22.by GlobalHunt Foundation. For past 6 years under the CSR initiatives the company have been undertaking menstrual hygiene among school & College girls across Bangalore, Delhi, Indore, Jaipur, Jharkhand, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nasik, Nagpur, Pune & Other locations so as to build the knowledge of girls on the subject of menstruation. The session entails a comprehensive understanding on the what, why and how of menstruation comprising of meaning of menstruation, develop a biological understanding, talk on related social taboos and aware them on hygiene practices to be maintained during menstruation. The lecture has delivered by Ms. Roshnee Bhowmick CSR Executive, Unicharm India.The webinar was coordinated by Dr. Priyanka Singh, Associate Professor, Bansal College of Pharmacy.

The Program consisted lecture, interaction between speaker, students and faculties. The speaker Ms. Roshnee Bhowmick have interacted with girl’s students and aware adolescent girls on Menstrual Hygiene,use of high quality sanitary napkins to adolescent girls in rural areas, to ensure safe disposal of Sanitary Napkins in an environmentally friendly manner.
